​Alixandra Kupcik

My love of words has led me on an international adventure as a writer, freelance journalist, and copywriter from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles, California where I have been based for almost five years. I enjoy writing long-form and short-form editorials, interviews, and opinion pieces mainly focusing on the entertainment industry, beauty, business, marketing, fashion, motivation, social issues, and events.

After graduating from college in my hometown of Sydney, Australia where I studied performing arts, I moved to NYC to further my experience. It was here where I found a love for Public Relations and began working for Faraone Communications where I specialized in representation and marketing communication services to clients in the entertainment, communications, and media industries. During this time I developed a keen understanding of communication styles specific to marketing and PR, and have since worked in the corporate and entertainment sectors in Australia and the USA as a content developer, copywriter, subeditor, blogger, and writer. From 2015-2017 I worked as a Content Specialist, Editor, and Writer for Casting Networks International (aka LA Casting) after being headhunted by the head of Marketing. In 2017 I launched LA Connect; a marketing and branding business focused on startups, and Australian businesses launching in the USA.

Currently, I am available for freelance editorial work, as well as copywriting, blogging, social media, and content development.
